Just arrived back with aching feet from climbing Snowdon; do it and feel very proud of yourselves! Our hosts were very welcoming and the rooms adequate, breakfast was lovely as was the packed lunch on offer. Only complaint was we weren't very inspired by Llanberis when seeking out somewhere to eat in the evening without having to drive. Recommend the pub in Llanrug about 2 miles away, Barry advised us to book first and he was right.

Glyn Afon is centrally located in Llanberis, convenient to shops and cafes. Barry and Sue are very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed, tea making facilities, a modern ensuite bathroom and even a hair dryer supplied. They have a drying room for wet clothing on the ground floor which we used to store our suitcase on our departure day until leaving Llanberis. The breakfast was excellent, just like the Hilton Hotel! We thoroughly recommend this reasonably priced Guest House.

Barry and Sue had thought of everything to ensure our stay at Glyn Afon was just brilliant. A warm,friendly welcome, lovely bedrooms and superb beds, excellent food and as much as we could eat, great packed lunches catering for all our tastes, daily weather updates and the use of the facilites in the evening making our stay a truly relaxing experience! Having been very pleased with a previous visit to Glyn Afon it was an easy choice to book again when 3 colleagues and myself decided to climb Snowdon for Clic Sargent Cancer Charity.
It is set in the perfect location for anyone wanting to explore this area of North Wales. The welcome we received was as warm as ever, the rooms were spotless and comfortable and the breakfast would satisfy the biggest appetite. Barry and Sue couldn't do enough for us. To say we were "looked after" is an understatement. I plan to make a return visit later in the year.
I would recommend Glyn Afon to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful area.

I had the pleasure of staying here in October 2008 when climbing Snowdon for charity. It's set in the centre of Llanberis and an ideal base for touring and walking in this beautiful part of Wales. I was offered a warm and friendly welcome by Barry and Sue and made to feel at home straight away. The room was cosy and comfortable and very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay. Fantastic breakfasts; clean and tidy rooms and nothing appeared too much trouble for the hosts - nice friendly people. Will definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending to others.
